Today was suppose to be the big day that W.C.W. returned in the form of The World Championship Wrestling Alliance.
Today the first independent company to join the alliance of pro-wrestling federations was to be Florida Championship Wrestling.
The plan was to make it known from the beginning that W.C.W.A. would be about showcasing all the best wrestlers and promotions, large and small.
Announcing this news was going to be the current Florida Heavyweight Champion: Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, but everything feel into chaos. The following series of photos showcase what happen at the F.C.W. Arena in Melbourne Florida in front of press from all around the world. No matches were scheduled on this day and besides the F.C.W. Champion no other active wrestlers were suppose to even be there on the day.
Dean Ambrose, who had been feuding with Mr. Wonderful the past few months since Orndorff became the champion by tournament at an event in Miami, appeared.
He climbed on top of the arena V.I.P. Stands as is shown above and below.
Raced across in true lunatic fashion.
And dived trying to hit the champion with a flying elbow.
But the champion, a very strong athlete, caught him, and then he dropped Ambrose ass first onto the top of the ring post.
And when Ambrose struggling climbed to stand on the top rope the champion pulled his feet out from under him sending him tumbling to the hard wooden floors of the F.C.W. Arena.
Now the W.C.W.A. wants it to be clear that Mr. Orndorff had every right to defend himself but his actions after throwing Mr. Ambrose outside the ring were way out of bounds.
The champion will be fined for ramming Dean Ambrose into the ring post head first. The Ambassador of W.C.W.A. Dusty Rhodes was in attendance at this announcement and came out to check on Ambrose, to make sure he was ok, and said a few not so kind things in the champions direction.
Dusty has said he will address this issue on the next episode of Burn Wood from the under construction Raw Dome as the F.C.W. champion will be there for his official W.C.W.A. champion photo shoot.
