The rebel Philadelphia based hardcore no holds barred group is already on shaky grounds with the W.C.W.A. Board as it still hasn't declared a promotion champion as per W.C.W.A. guidelines. The guidelines require this so the board can rank contenders to the W.C.W.A. World Champion.
Spokesman Al Snow says his fellow E.C.W. wrestlers do not consider this fair since neither has Mid-South Wrestling or Stampede Wrestling. They consider this a unfair flag against them since E.C.W. only made it into the W.C.W.A. under a slim vote to begin with. Unnamed sources from alliance member U.F.C. say it's simply a matter of most of the W.C.W.A. considering E.C.W. just a waste of good talent being pushed into short careers.
The W.C.W.A. Board Of Directors has said they are freezing any new signees by E.C.W. until a champion is crowned. But the company did pull a little bit of a Fuck You by signing one of the hottest free agents in the person of Canadian Kevin Owens before this ruling came down. Owens was in talks with all W.C.W.A. promotions and courted big time by Stampede Wrestling and World Class wrestling out of Texas.
